Barbary is the original Bedouin bag, our large capacity messenger bag, adjustable to carry awkward loads and forms to your body when lightly loaded.
The Barbary is handmade in Lincolnshire, England. The main body is constructed from 12 Ounce waxed canvas from Halley Stevensons in Dundee, Scotland and Italian veg tanned leather. The shoulder strap a left shoulder padded construction (bespoke right shoulder available) with British seatbelt grade webbing and a leather lash strip, finished with a 50mm Cobra. The main flap opens with two Cobra buckles, forged in Austria and the worlds strongest release buckle, internally there 3 sleeve pockets, externally (under the flap) there are two sleeve pockets and a zip pocket using Swiss zipping. Barbary is fully padded and lined with a cotton drill, hand printed in London with the Bedouin® Crank pattern.
